Serving as Ohio sales manager with the Ohio Business Development Coalition, Matt McQuade plays an integral role in marketing the state of Ohio to investment decision-makers, such as site selection consultants, to fully convey the state's core competencies while at the same time gathering market intelligence that can be used to improve Ohio's economic development strategies.

McQuade's responsibilities also include developing key relationships and collaborations with Ohio's economic development organizations–many of which have led to promising investment opportunities for the state.

Prior to joining the Ohio Business Development Coalition, McQuade managed domestic site selection projects on a statewide level for the Ohio Department of Development. During his tenure at the department, McQuade worked with Ohio's regions and communities to generate project data requirements for requests for proposals (RFPs) and formulating and negotiating incentive packages.

McQuade graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also received his Master's in Public Administration from the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University.
